well i FINALLY received the payment from the insurance company-- what a relief-- i am now totally done with those bastards...and tomorrow i close on the house and i will CANCEL my policy-- oh what a good feeling that will be...

things here have been busy-- "rambo" is still not totally well and now has an eye infection so tomorrow i will call the vet and take him in -- poor little guy has been through so much - still sneezing -- but at least eating and playing some - poppers has adopted him and watches over him like a hawk- majik loves to play and romp with him and simon-- well simon just mostly ignores him!!

the patio is STILL not completed-- we have had rain rain and more rain so hopefully next week i will see robert here working away and getting things accomplished-- i have my patio furniture but it is on the porch as no sense taking it out to patio and then having to move everything once robert gets back here to work.....i will be so happy when this is done and i can settle everything and enjoy it!

my friend suzie is in the hospital with gall bladder problems - when i got home friday there was a message on my machine that sally had taken her -- looks like surgery tomorrow-- but at least she is doing well and her spirits are up!

my son and his wife closed on their house last tuesday and so wednesday thursday and friday my friend thea and i painted and painted and painted-- we got the master bd, my grandsons bd, and both offices done-- what a job-- they chose a mulberry color for the bedroom -- my god what a nightmare that was-- it took four coats and was a horrendous job to do-- we learned later that any color with red is a bitch to paint-- and it just takes going over and over and over it-- i was never so glad to get done with a room!!! i am so excited for them and so are they- its a great house with a pool which my grandson will love as he is a fish! they moved yesterday so i imagine today they are exhausted and i hope taking advantage of the pool to have some relaxation and fun.

as tired as i am - i cleaned my carpets today-- the cats had thrown up all over the house - and i just couldnt take it any longer so decided to clean them all-- i am so tired now i can hardly type so think i will go and relax myself awhile and just chill....
